Eating Healthy Snacks

There’s nothing better than a night in on freezing cold, windy night with a great film and some munchies.

That traditional favourite popcorn is best enjoyed popped fresh by you with a popcorn popper or a frying pan. Those microwaveable bags have a dreadful list of ingredients not to mention incredibly high in saturated and/or trans fats that just aren’t good for the body.

Another option that I’ve become addicted to are Kamut Puffs. They have that satisfying crunch like popcorn yet don’t crack teeth. The best part is that one little cup contains 2 grams of protein and 2 grams of fibre. All that in 50 little calories means you are getting the most nutritious bang in your calories. A 200 gram bag costs about $3! I promise you’ll get addicted too.
