I am a grazer and tend to eat throughout the day. This week, my challenge is to consume 1 protein shake everyday to ensure that I am consuming enough protein and fruit to provide the energy I need to sustain me throughout the day. Stay tuned for suggested recipes.

What’s in the protein shake? Or is it the “pearlicious” recipe you have above? (Which sounds great btw) Any other protein you like besides hemp?
Yes it is the same as pearlicious but with an apple instead.
I forgot to mention in the post that I normally add a tbsp of multivitamin & a tbsp of an omega oil (I prefer Vega, Brendan Brazier’s line of products) however I need to go grocery shopping today
Great question! Yes I prefer hemp as a protein as it is completely pure, no additives, no heating in the process. Your body will absorb this protein far better than any animal product. I will blog more on protein for tomorrow’s topic.
